Feeling a lot of things right now. Mostly just apathy, but a lot of inadequacy paired strangely with contentment.

I feel ok, really. And I wish I had a few bucks for coffee, because I could so write tonight.

Truth be told, I actually feel quite wonderful.

Oh, and read 1 and 2 Timothy tonight. These letters are amazing and convicting. And when you read them, try to decide what you are really living for, and compare that to what you read.

"...present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth." 2 Tim 3:15

"You who never arrived
in my arms, Beloved, who were lost
from the start,
I don't even know what songs
would please you. I have given up trying
to recognize you in the surging wave of the next
moment. All the immense
images in me- the far-off, deeply-felt landscape,
cities, towers, and bridges, and unsuspected
turns in the path,
and those powerful lands that were once
pulsing with the life of the gods-
all rise within me to mean
you, who forever elude me.

You, Beloved, who are all
the gardens I have ever gazed at,
longing. An open window
in a country house-, and you almost
stepped out, pensive, to meet me.
Streets that I chanced upon,-
you had just walked down them and vanished.
And sometimes, in a shop, the mirrors
were still dizzy with your presence and, startled,
gave back my too-sudden image. Who knows?
perhaps the same bird echoed through both of us
yesterday, seperate, in the evening..."

The two most beautiful people I've ever photographed.

For the "Green vs. Brown" debate results, my eyes are green.

And brown.

An interesting picture of my other niece, Emily.

And my crazy color photo for the day. Some random wild flowers.

The two nieces together. Sigh.

My niece is on the right, and the pretty girl on the left is my brother's girlfriend's daughter. This was one of my favorite pictures from my trip. Cool, huh?

Doesn't my niece look like a Gerber baby?

In other news, I can't stress to you how effective it is to study for a standardized test. I scored a 740 on my most recent practice exam, which is almost 30 points higher than the highest average score for any top business school (i.e. Stanford holds the nations highest average with 713). I can't wait to graduate and start applying to these schools (Stanford is NOT one of my prospects).

I'll be back sooner than later, I just don't get to a computer often anymore.
