I spent a long time colorizing this thing. I think it was worth it. This is my favorite, so Florida for some reason. I added the "paint" effect to it as well. I think I should try to paint it myself someday!

To answer Josh's questions during this incredibly long post streak:

1. You mean apart from my flesh? I'm not sure I know who my worst enemy would be... Regardless, I'd let God have vengeance.

2. I don't have a tattoo, but if I were to get one, I'd probably get the state of Kentucky drawn on my butt. In technicolor.

3. Boxers: comfy, but no support... Briefs: support, sure, but wedgie-city... Boxer-briefs: comfy and supportive, Matt's top choice!

I'll answer anything folks (but my site is rated-G; let's not go further than Joshy).
The first picture is the original one, believe it or not. It was a yellow flower, and I held a blue marble in front of the flash.

The last one has some cool effects on it. Inverted colors, the painting effect, and some color adjustment, obviously.
I'm puppysitting these two tiny dogs at Steve's apartment and they're in the spare bedroom with me right now. One of them just crawled under the blanket which is tucked in neatly under the mattress all the way around. The other one couldn't find him for the longest time and is now laying under there with him. If ever the word "cute" could be defined with a picture... :)
I'll answer your questions out here since my answers are lengthy.

Ali:

1. One time Jen and I were under the pier in Clearwater singing all 18 verses of Immanuel's Land (she was anyway, I didn't know all of them, so I just hummed the latter 13 or so), and we were surprised by what seemed like a typhoon, only we weren't in Japan. There were literally walls of water pelting us as we jetted to the car. We would rest every so often to catch our breath and hide behind a building or something, laughing hysterically, more drenched than we’d ever been. It was one of the most memorable times of my life (maybe because we parked so damned far away?), and it was the most rain I'd ever seen fall from the sky, seriously. Having said that, nothing beats stars. Nothing. And I can’t adequately describe all the profoundness of the sky on a clear night in the middle of nowhere.

2. This is probably the toughest question, because I feel like I'm living so day-by-day right now, people are huge impacts every hour. The most recent one has to be Jesse Gentile. He's a 26-year-old guy from my church and has been through a lot of struggles similar to my own, which is inexplicably comforting. We talked last night about a few things, and he's coming over tonight to talk some more. Overall, he’s the most admirable person I know, but again, maybe I look up to him because of our similarities.

3. Yes. Yes you may. When I get some online, that is.

Audrey:

1. It depends. Some see God's creation, as it really is, and some see it as this big bluish-black thing with lightning bugs stuck to it, or a big canopy with holes punched in it (i.e. Timon of ‘The Lion King’ and the guys from Incubus, respectively).

2. I would definitely go with the ketchup-squirting bellybutton. Along with the obvious convenience, I’m sure there are some unforeseen benefits associated.

3. Hmm. I think my talents are more apparent in drawing, so I’d have to go with that. I do love photography though, and I’m glad I don’t really have to make that choice. :)

Julie:

1. C
2. A
3. D

Julie emailed me her questions, not following the directions, which means no one gets to read hers (they were multiple choice).

Keep those questions coming guys!

"I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want. Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything.

Post the questions in the 'comments' area so that everyone can see them and their respective answers."

I've seen this one around on a few blogs. My turn! :)

Went to Shakespeare in the park on Saturday. "Much Ado About Nothing" was absolutely hysterical (the part that I could understand, and the part that I could see for that matter, seeing as how I didn't have my glasses). They mixed it with Latin music, which was a very good choice; it added a lot to the comedy.

Taking the above picture and the other ones during a "shoot" (I have to put it in quotes because I don't think I'm good enough to call it a "shoot" in a nonchalante sort of way) became a very messy task. And what a lot of people don't know is that the thing in the glass is actually just a blow-pop without the stick. Yay for candy!

Speaking of Shakespeare and photoshoots, I'm going to Cici's tonight with Nathan. All you can eat pizza for only $3.99? Thanks, I will.

My freaking goodness. USF screwed up my transcripts TWICE! The very patient and kind Lisa bianchi from the admissions staff emailed me to say she still had not received my transcripts from USF even though I had them sent to her attention last week. Npw I have to go back for a third time. I'd do it myself, but it's only "official" if the school sends it.

USF should be spanked.
From the slogan generator website.

"Leaves Your Matt Minty not Mediciney."
"The Incredible, Edible Matt."
"Uh-oh, Better Get Matt."
"Now with 50% more Matt!"

haha.

No seriously: haha.

Stop looking at me like that.
Today was the last day of class apart from one final I have next Wednesday, and I am unexcpectedly sad. But I'm satisfied with the way things went this semester.

I need to get out of Tampa for a minute once finals are over next week. Not sure what I'm going to do yet, but we'll see. Any suggestions?

I miss Dave J. I didn't realize exactly how much time we spent together until he left. Now I don't hang out with anyone a heck of a lot anymore, and that kind of sucks... I may go visit soon, I'd like to see the city anyway, maybe go see this new play on broadway called "Wicked." It's "The Wizard of Oz" from the wicked witch's viewpoint. I don't know, it sounds interesting.

(By the way, I'm avoiding talking about NYU until I hear the verdict.)

That's that. I'm not sure what else is going on; I feel a bit dettached from my blog these days, since posts have been random and sporatic lately. I guess that may speak for itself too, if you know what I mean. I won't comment on it, I'm sure the implications are obvious.

I'm in such a weird mood. Not bad though, so it's cool.

So I gave Jillian an assignment. Her results are quite good, don't you think?

I'm especially loving the first and second ones. Beautiful.

Still one of the coolest poems ever...

---

somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence:
in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,
or which i cannot touch because they are too near

your slightest look easily will unclose me
though i have closed myself as fingers,
you open always petal by petal myself as Spring opens
(touching skillfully,mysteriously)her first rose

or if your wish be to close me,i and
my life will shut very beautifully, suddenly,
as when the heart of this flower imagines
the snow carefully everywhere descending;

nothing which we are to perceive in this world equals
the power of your intense fragility:whose texture
compels me with the colour of its countries,
rendering death and forever with each breathing

(i do not know what it is about you that closes
and opens; only something in me understands
the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses)
nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands

-e.e. cummings

and Mr. Jeremy Camp

and Mr. Al Pacino

These are way mor detailed in person...
Two drawings... The colors are way more vivid, but it was hard to adjust the color and contrast while accurately showing the same details as the original.

You know your study habits have changed when you're mad that you missed ONE question on the quiz. Anyway, the only thing I have left in American Literature is the take-home final. I have a strong A going into it, so I better get an A on it.

One more :)

3 weeks of school left. I haven't lost my steem yet either, which is a first. Oh, and I'm moving to New Jersey in 3 weeks, assuming I've heard from NYU by then (not that it's contingent on my acceptance, but I want to make sure I have the letter).

Dave just moved back up there and invited me, said I would really enjoy it, etc. But he also said he'd pay for my one-way plane ticket...

Sigh... change is EXCITING!
